Meet sweet baby Poppy!

Some sessions are full of wiggles, feeds and little cat naps in between. Then there are sessions like Poppy’s. She arrived mostly asleep and drifted straight back to sleep once wrapped as if she had been here a hundred times before.

Poppy gave us the dream combination, some gorgeous smiles and then a peaceful sleep that let us move through a beautiful collection of neutral, classic setups. These are always my favourites because they let all the focus fall on baby.

I’m so aware of how they change so quickly, so quietly, almost overnight. Blink and their little face is different, their hands feel bigger, their legs stretch longer. Poppy’s session will be a reminder of how fleeting this phase is.

Her parents are completely in love.

I kept her session gentle and simple, lots of creams, soft textures, and earthy tones. Nothing to distract from her. Just Poppy. Perfect as she is.
