Okay so maybe I haven’t kept up with my new year’s resolution to blog consistently but here I am, trying again!

This session was back in January (wee bit behind!) and I have to say, there’s something really special about having families return to me as they grow. This lovely family first came in when their eldest was born in between those lockdown times , and it was such a joy to welcome them back for maternity and newborn photos with baby number two. Big brother was a little older when we had his session so it was great to be able to give them the tiny squishy images of a freshie.

Their newborn session was everything I love about this kind of work. Baby boy slept so peacefully, with the cutest, smooshiest cheeks. Big brother took some convincing and then rocked his sibling shot!

We kept the styling really simple, using soft neutrals and classic textures to keep the focus on their gorgeous bubba.

As a newborn photographer, I always aim for sessions that feel relaxed and genuine. I want your photos to feel familiar to you.
