Natural Family Portraits in Barwon Heads | Tonja's Family

I met this lovely family around Christmas time last year. They are frequent visitors to the area and so really wanted the session to capture the beachy/laid back feel of the summer holidays they spend around Barwon Heads. I really enjoy capturing families with 'older' kids. So many people get their newborn or one year old photos and never get professional photos done again! But think of how loved these photos will be when their kids can look back and actually be able to remember all the memories and feelings that these images evoke. I think their choice of location was spot on - it's these little family holidays that the kids will remember and maybe even continue with their own kids. Documenting the tradition with professional shots? What a cool idea.
