Little Baby Quinn came in to the studio last week for her newborn session. Let’s just say she did enjoy christening all my props but with a face like this, I can forgive her :)

Sweet baby Evelyn came in a few weeks ago for her newborn session. She looks like such a little doll in these images, and check out that eye contact. Having seen her today so mum and dad can see their images, rest assured this little one is only getting cuter!
Beautiful baby Emma had her newborn session a few weeks ago. Here she is in beautiful greys, whites and subtle pinks. Check out those lashes!

Oh my gosh. This little girl was just the sweetest little bubba! She was so laid back and content that it took longer to try and wake her at the end, than it did to get her asleep! With such beautiful, tiny little features, she was just a dream to photograph.
Much love Coco, you are one happy little girl!
Baby Zander came in to see me last week for his newborn photos. He smiled a lot through his session, but it only ever happened when I wasn’t holding the camera! Cheeky boy.
I did manage to capture a few though :)
If you would like your own newborn session please get in touch early as newborns are best photographed in the first 5-12 days of life.
Baby Lillian came in to see me a few weeks ago for her newborn session with her big brother and mum and dad. With perfect features like a little doll, it wasn’t hard for me to get so many sweet images of her. Her two year old baby brother Edward was such a star too – two year olds are always the most difficult of ages to pose with newborns as their attention spans aren’t very long, so this little guy did so well didn’t he?
Oh Quinn, you were just a dream baby to have a newborn session with!
Baby Quinn turned up to her session asleep, slept through all my setups, and apart from a brief bout of hiccups, she left asleep too!
With a gorgeous head of hair and perfect little features, enjoy some images from her session.
Baby Harper came into the studio a few weeks ago and was just the smooshiest little baby! I loved her full head of hair, and she was just such a relaxed little girl! Enjoy!
Baby Kai came in for a cuddle today (well, so his mum could choose photos but priorities!) so I figured it was a great time to blog his session!
I have to admit, I do get a little attached to all the babies who come into see me. They are all so completely different, and I remember different things about all of them.
Kai? I remember his amazing eyelashes, what a sweet little face he has, and how much he didn’t like to sleep!
There is no doubt in mind that Kai is one adored little baby, and while everyone thanks me for my patience with their babies, I really should be thanking them.
I don’t need to say too much about this session, the photos really do speak for themselves.
Little Reef came in to see me a few weeks earlier than expected. He was tiny and perfect as all babies are, and slept like a total dream for me through the whole session (and not all babies do this part!).
It really is an honour being the one to capture each baby’s beginnings :)
Even though most of the babies I see are around the same age and have only just been welcomed into the world, they are all so incredibly different. Some are so chilled they barely open their eyes, some are smiling and interacting so early it’s amazing and some are just a bundle of wriggling limbs!
Baby Ryder was definitely in the relaxed camp! He is just the kind of baby who takes everything in their stride, who loves to just watch the world go by. He was not a big fan of sleep at all, but he was happy and relaxed and that’s all you can ask for isn’t it?
I always find babies tend to ‘fall into’ their own little one of a kind positions, and while I do love it when they are asleep and I can pose them so nicely – there is something even sweeter about those babies who are truly determined to have their little hands a certain way! One day it will be hard for parents to remember these little details, so it is great to capture them.
Ryder’s mum and dad wanted some relaxed and natural baby photography, so I hope they are happy with these!

I’m lucky enough to have earned a number of return clients. One of the best things about my job is being able to photograph a family every year or so and being witness to the changes in their family as little ones grow and newbies arrive into the world. It’s a big reminder for me how quickly life moves forward. One minute their baby is barely crawling and the next, I am chasing their running, laughing toddler around!
I first photographed this family when little Sophie was almost 1, and now she’s a big sister already! I met up with Sophie and her mum for a mini maternity session, and then for baby Anna’s newborn session.

I remember two things mostly vividly from baby Harper’s session day – her beautiful head of hair and how hot it was! My car’s aircon is a bit dodgy and with the sun beating down at about 39/40 degrees that day, it was definitely a relief that Harper’s mum and dad had aircon!
Harper was about two weeks old at the session so not quite the sleepy newborn anymore, but with big gorgeous eyes and such a pretty face, she was still a dream to photograph. I couldn’t believe it when she held her head up during one of the poses, for such a long time! I have a feeling she’s going to grow up into a beautiful little girl with a ton of personality.
